When Ron Peskin originally bought Brent’s Deli, he had no immediate plans to close for Thanksgiving. In fact, he was going to host his family for Thanksgiving at the Northridge Location so that he could stay open for those customers who might come in.
However, the Sunday before the holiday, Ronnie’s father passed away. Instead of opening the store, Ronnie decided that in honor of his father, the restaurant would remain closed. Thanksgiving is the only day of the year that Brent’s Deli is completely closed and continues to be so today. So, in honor of our founder’s father, and in honor of families everywhere, we wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving holiday. We hope you are able to spend treasured time with your loved ones this year.

With a locations in both Northridge and Westlake Village, we have a lot to be thankful for—including our loyal customers. As a family-owned and operated restaurant, we are committed to the community relationships we have built over time, and we are so grateful for our relationships with each of you. In full celebration, Brent’s Deli will be closed on Thanksgiving Day–November 23, 2023. Please make sure that all catering orders are placed before this date and are picked up or delivered before closing on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

Pre-Dinner Hors D’oeuvres
Stave off hunger while the turkey is in the oven with delicious appetizers and hors d’oeuvres such as cocktail franks in barbecue sauce, pigs in a blanket, mini stuffed cabbage rolls, and meatballs in sweet and sour sauce. We also serve up authentic favorites including Grandma Eva’s Noodle Kugel, mini potato latkes, mini cheese blintzes, and more.
Hot Buffet Dinner at Brent’s Deli
Celebrate a no-fuss Thanksgiving with our Hot Buffet Dinner. Perfect for a minimum of 10 guests, you can take care of the main courses with your choice of one entree including traditional turkey and stuffing, chicken breast sauteed in our very own mushroom wine sauce, stuffed cabbage, half roast chicken, or brisket. Complete with a Dinner Salad and Rolls (served with butter), you also receive 2 sides for a full meal for everyone.
It includes your choice of one entrée and two sides and is served with a mouthwatering dinner salad and rolls with butter. We also provide catering for salads, appetizers, and desserts!

End your Thanksgiving dinner on a sweeter note with our rich, homemade desserts. Keep your guests coming for seconds with your choice of fresh-baked apple pie and/or long-time favorite dessert trays including our famous mini eclairs (one day notice required) and made-to-order New York Style Cheesecake.
For Thanksgiving catering this year, rely on Brent’s Deli to get it right. You can place your catering orders for pickup or delivery on the 22nd of November.
