Pat Peskin, the longtime wife of Brent’s Deli founder Ron, has been an avid bowler for quite some time.
In 2006, Pat was at a local bowling alley with some friends when she met Max Feinberg.
“I never knew about Brent’s Deli until she mentioned it to me,” Max recalls. “So I decided to go.”
“Ever since then I have been coming here every single day,” he says, chuckling. “Except when I want Italian food, which isn’t that often anymore.”
The 85-year-old New Jersey native has tried many items on our menu, but his favorites are the chicken soup and pastrami sandwich.
“It’s good food — and a lot of it!” Max says, explaining why he dines at our Northridge location as often as he does. “And there are very nice people working here.”
But Brent’s Deli isn’t the only part of Max’s normal routine.
“He’s at the bowling alley every Thursday to see us girls,” Pat says.
