For the 17th year overall, Brent’s Deli has been voted the number-one Delicatessen & Restaurant by the 2013 Zagat Survey.

“The air is redolent with corned beef, stuffed cabbage and other quintessential NYC eats at this old-school Northridge deli and more luxurious Westlake Village spin-off, where the delish mile-high sandwiches on crusty rye are worth the schlep,” the publication writes.
“It’s not inexpensive, but the staff’s a hoot and hefty portions make for a good value — bring an empty stomach.”
Zagat also lists Brent’s Deli as the fifth most popular restaurant in Los Angeles.
