What’s your first memory of Brent’s Deli?
I was probably about five years old and all I wanted to do was play on the register. My grandpa (Brent’s Deli owner Ron Peskin) got me a milk crate to stand on and I took the customers’ checks and money. I just remember the customers joking with me about starting the family business at such a young age.
What’s your favorite thing to eat at Brent’s Deli?
I couldn’t possibly just have one favorite item on the menu — it’s 17 pages! But one of my favorites is the brisket tacos. And I will eat anything that you can put our homemade salsa on!
What’s your vision for Brent’s Deli?
I would love to see us expand to even more locations. We have the best customers in the world and I know that they would support us in any city that we open in. But it’s most important to me that Brent’s Deli always stays a family place where you walk in the door and feel like you’re at home.
